blue 515x600 .sunday soup.

blue...a new itty bitty original illustration.

so much going on in the studio. more announcements this
week. but for now here is some meaty fun that will get
the new week off to a good start.

i am so happy to be part of the wishBIG ecamp. there are
so many giveaways for a spot and there will be another
one here soon. but for now, head over to mindys blog
and check out all the goodness.

head over to kolleens blog, for her “i am better for it”
series. i can’t tell you how much i have gotten from
each person who shares a little snippet of her life.
and if you want to tell your story, let kolleen know.

i have an artists that i am loving right now. and i
dreamt that she moved to the sunny state of middle
earth, last nite. so of course that tells me i need to
give her a shout out here.  carissa paige’s art and
life sense makes me smile. go check her out…

and while i have your attention and we are filled
up with good life sense. please make a little donation
to the people of japan. there are some really great etsy
sights who are donating portions of their sales to
different emergency funds.  here are a few to look for

pixie campbell….animama
she is donation $12 from each
sale of her STRENGTH elephant art print.
i have several of pixie’s prints and an original.
she has a heart of gold and a love for our
mother earth.

amanda atkins
100% of the proceeds of this listing will go
to the Red Cross relief for Japan. These
paintings will not be released as prints until
summer. and she is covering the shipping.
two prints for you + 100% of the proceeds to
japan.

celina wyss is offering a 5×7 print of
“She Held Love in Her Hands” . in love
with this print. mine will be home soon.

and if you need more. just type in Japan Relief
into etsy search and you will find plenty of
ways to help. and if you find that you need
something other than shops….my friend
liz lamoreux has some soothing mediations
for those moments when the devastation
is overwhelming.  you can find them here.
they are on the side bar under….
find your center (audio meditations)

and last….a little shop news. there are
more itty bitty drawings in the shop. i am
overwhelmed by this weekends sales.
thank you to each of you for being so
kind and cheering me on. i am having
so much fun with all the girls, and more
on the way.

yesterday i headed to lafayette with coupon in hand
to pick up my first ott light. wow! it rocks. but before
heading home, i hit barnes and noble. i love browsing
through the crispy magazines and newly released art
and crafts books. i picked up shambhala sun with
a huge happy image of pema chodron. i had to have
it. as i checked out. i told the man that i didn’t need
a bag, happy to save a rubber tree and as i left he
said….”namaste”. his kind words and thoughtfulness
filled my soul. some days living in such a conservative
land, where the mind can be very narrow – this was
a perfect way to end my day. of course tonight
when the dogs dumped my shell full of burned sage
on the floor, i wasn’t thinking…namaste. guess
who needs to go read her new mag and welcome
some centering and kindness back into her week.

so with that…..soup is on. be kind to one another
and have a happy shining week.

namaste.
