re-wire. hello day.

a day begins.

a drop of color.

and then a little face time.

along with bits.

a breath.

hello day.

the hang.

each day.

we wake.
throwing our feet over the side of the bed.
feet touching the chilled floors.

each day.

in that moment we choose.

our mood.
our road.

we decide what we are going to inhale each day.

during a recent meeting of the minds with nona.
i was running thru different daily scenarios. you
see i have lived so much of my life, feeling bad about
me, believing that i was less than and here is the big
thing. this is the one thing i just seem to stumble
on daily…..that big INHALE of junk that i hold on
to even though i don’t really have to. and she told me
that i can simply say – i don’t believe in that or i love
this one…..i . don’t . subscribe to that.

and later in the day while talking to another chick,
she was telling me about a book she just read. the
premise was a young woman who had a stroke and
as she healed she began to research the brain and
she decided she was going to rewire.

rewire. yes.

it is the same thing i always tell myself – kelly
change the habit. redirect the old thoughts, ways
the old crap. make a new habit, more positive.

each day. as we feel those old feelings surface,
redirect to the positive. we have that power. we
control what our mind is going to collect and
bank for the future.

each day. a re-wire, making new habits. deciding
what we are going to collect in our memory bank.

each day.

remember…..and the whole month of february is all about
sharing the love. 15% of all shop sales goes
to two children’s hospitals, to help families
while their loved one is there for a stay.
i love that part.

and on a happy personal note – tuesday
was also greeted with such a happy text
from this chick. i . adore . her.
a BIGthanks to donna wynn for starting
my day with such a burst of sunshine.
i met donna at “squam by the sea” two
years ago. we shared lisa parks wicked
margarita’s and nibble on blue cheese
and crackers. a kindred. and for that
i am one lucky girl.

i met lisa at the talk with karen
maezen miller last week. i am so happy
i have found her writings.
