the studio is a busy place. finally getting back into a groove
with my paints and brushes.

i had a visitor this weekend. knowing that others are
willing to take time to come and sit with me is the
best feeling evah!

we took a little time to brainstorm, to chat and
even toodled around the studio putting things
back into order. it is amazing how a clean space
welcomes in creativity.

the last few days i have been painting….
a new series has been born.

coptic stitched – handmade journals.

i own three!  she also does custom journals
she worked on two for me, and i have to say
i love them.  she saved my beloved dr. seuss
“happy birthday to you” and beautifully
worked the new pages into the old story.
it warms my heart every time i look over
and see them setting on my table.

the most beautiful part is the saving
of a beloved book. repurpose. reuse. recycle.
