when i think about it. sacred life.
by kelly

when i think about it.
once she told me she was an ocean person & when she combed her
fingers through the seaweed she heard the songs of the mermaids
& it was easy to believe all the old stories. ~story people.
when i think about it..
the plane hovering over the happy bay below,
sun reflecting its pinks and oranges along
the waters shore and bouncing off the green
of the trees - can be found in websters
under beauty.
when i think about it..
creamy chunks of ahi
is the best companion while
absorbing the story of a
fitful journey, giggles swirling
around the warm cinnamon sugary
bits shared between kindreds.
when i think about it..
the greens of the land, warm
sea air and a little one squeeling
as she greets our morn. just
brings on the happy.
when i think about it..
soon we gather.
soon we work.
soon we create a new
chapter. and in the middle -
a beach calls to collect
new bits to carry back
to the land of corn. reminders
of the sea who calls to me.
when i think about it..
the air here is simply different.
i don’t care what he says.
when i think about it..
this girl is breathing deep. with a
little grin on her face. and hoping
to take in as much as she can possibly
hold. plus a tich more just to carry
home.
when i think about it..
i hope that you are thinking about it too.
. . . . . . .

current addictions: brian andreas and
his story people, dry shampoo and

bar in the pnw. that would make me
extra happy.

oh kelly, your writing feels very close to the heart. this must be the space where you are most at home. take it all in…the green, the freshness, the wescoastness of it all…and bring it back with you. you really can embody this space you love and live in every single day.
on another note, JEEZ how i would love to fill that last space. but i’m busy putting a chapter of my life to rest. after that….
i love you.
Big love you! So so good to see you!
