summertime is present and accounted for here in the
land of corn. sunday has brought a bit of a break from
the squelching high temps. ( note: i am not complaining,
i would take high temps any day over winter)
we are loving our new “fresh tap” in the garage.
giddy that we can just walk out the back door
and pour i cold beer anytime we want.
many new paintings on the table, focusing
on a new muse – my om.
and books. i am so happy to be flipping
through the pages of flora bowley’s,
brave intuitive painting. alena hennessy’s,
cultivating your creative life and soon
mati roses’s, daring adventures in paint
will arrive! hoping that the heat allows
for a nite on the deck soon. nothing sweeter
then a cold beer, feet up and happy pages of
color to finish off the daily grind.
i have a new shelf in the studio just for
my smash books. makes it so simple just
to pull out the appropriate happily binded
journal. i have three now. pink, retro blue and
orange…..do you have a fave yet? still
deciding just what i am going to fill the
my feet have at last hit the ground since
returning from the pnw. i have so many
things i want to talk about with you. new
ideas for the studio and for this path
i skip down each day. this week
i have new paintings coming, pictures
of the process and a few pinterest recipes
i have given a whirl to. so come on
back. i know you really want to see
my orange margarita!
off i go to the big city over the hill to
meet up with an old friend. i can’t wait
to have a beer at flat 12 bierworks
