“This September, come along to the Pacific Northwest woods outside Seattle with Kelly Barton, Mindy Lacefield, and Liz Lamoreux as your guides. Our five days together will include three full days of unearthing the creativity that we each have within paired with invitations to spend time breathing deeply and noticing what you most need in this moment. The dates of this retreat are September 26 – 30, 2012.
Kelly and Mindy will be co-teaching a three-day juicy, soulful painting workshop, and Liz will share some of her favorite creative self-care practices through mini creative adventures in topics like poetry, self-portraiture, and meditation. The three of us will work together to integrate our workshops into one incredible adventure for all who come along.
Throughout the retreat and workshops, Kelly, Mindy, and Liz will share stories and creative tools while creating a safe, encouraging environment for everyone. There will also be time spent recharging and time to create on your own as you are tucked in by the fire at beautiful Frog Creek Lodge. With these three as your guides, you can be certain there will be laughter, joy, and perhaps even a bit of dancing.
. . . . . . . . . . . . .
my words:
i can not tell you how happy i am to be heading back to frog creek lodge. this place is magical. there is a bedroom that i have stayed in several times. it has a big open window that looks down into the big room with the fireplace. i would lay up on my bed after a little break and lay there giggling to myself as the others, in the room below, would be telling stories and laughing so hard at one anothers antics. this – this is what makes each of the retreats i attend a gift. it is the friends bonded, the stories shared, the wine (margaritas) poured and how each is seen so deeply it is a happy kind of hurt.
to get to teach with mindy and liz for three days. i am giddy thinking of the goodness that is going to happen in frog creek lodge. and if that isn’t enough for you. here are a few more things to look forward to. eagles. there are eagle nest right above the lodge ( and to the left just a bit). little frogs greet you as you walk in the door, deep green moss line the trees, that line the road you travel in on and smiling happy faces – lots of them.
each and every retreat/workshop that i have attended, whether as a student or teacher has pushed me forward in this life of mine. i know it will do the same for you. so please think about coming along to unearth. we will be so happy to see your face.
there are several spots left! come grab yours!
peace, kelly
