3 little misfits. [kelly made.]
it is a little rainy over here today. i have the windows opened wide and the day has been filled with new beads. color, plenty of creative juice and one amazing breeze that has the nag champa fluttering around the rooms like mad. my kind of day. it has been quite a while since i have worked up any misfits and earlier this week i found several batches of beads that i had set back months ago. today i sat down at my big green table and got to work. and wow, it felt good and i missed playing with all those colors and textures. as i continue to work on new offerings for the shop and classes, i realize why i do what i do. our world needs more color. so often we are pummeled with negative stories, volatile cities and this cloud that seems to be hanging on far too long. and so when i create i use happy colors, that hold deep story of each of us finding our groove, stepping up to help others and simple kindness. and like anyone else, i need that color too.
and so…..i add color to our lands. because it is what i do.
. . . . .
i will soon be heading to the
PNW for a retreat with liz lamoreux.
there are a couple of spots open
and we would love to
sit and create with you.
